What to Do with Articles You Write
Introduction
Many people don't know what to do with the articles that they write. Guess what? You can do anything that you want to do with your articles because you wrote them. You own all the rights to it. Here are a few common ways to make extra cash with your articles. If you have any more suggestions on methods you used, leave them in the comments below! I hope that I will be able to teach you a few new tips and tricks.
Websites
If you own a website, publish your content there! Make sure the article is relevant your website and the keywords it's ranking for. That way, it'll help with SEO and adding fresh, high-quality content to your website frequently. It's very important to do this, so why not just get it out of the way with something you've already written?
Blogs
Just a website, if you own a blog, publish your content there! Make sure the article is relevant your blog and the keywords it's ranking for. That way, it'll help with SEO and adding fresh, high-quality content to your blog frequently. It's very important to do this, so why not just get it out of the way with something you've already written? Blogs are also a great way to communicate with your visitors.
Article Directories
Article directories are a great place to submit your articles. Not many people do this because they don't know how good it is. If you have ads on your website or blog, this will be even better for you. When you get to submit your article on a directory, you get to put a link to your website/blog and that creates not just a backlink to help with your SEO, it also created a link for people reading your article a chance to come to your blog and read more of your content if they like it. As you can see, all you really have to do is find a website that fits your needs, make an account (not always) and just submit your article with a link back to your website.
Hubpages
Similar to an Article Directory, submitting your articles here on Hubpages can make you money as well. With affiliate links, advertisements and many other ways you can earn money on here. It's also a good way to build your portfolio.
Reselling
This method is the most common. You prewrite content called PLR, Private Label Rights. Then you make a website where you sell that content or just put it up for free, but you can't make any money if it's free, but can you? You can but it won't be very much, you can still have free PLR content and make money by having some sort of advertisements on your website where you sell your content. When approaching online marketplaces and alike, be aware. Some charge very high fees of your sales that you never see, you can maximize profits by selling yourself and being on marketplaces for the advertisement part of it. Then someone might buy from the marketplace, then go on your website to by even more if you are really good at writing the content you are selling.
You might be asking, I'd like to learn a bit more about PLR. Well let me tell you! PLR is content that someone creates and it's distributed. Users can get the content and then keep it as is and put it on their website or edit it to make it unique. Rewriting is a huge way to create articles faster and is a common method with writers that don't have time for small projects.
Conclusion
Choosing the best option for you is up to you. There are many different factors to consider in the aspect of what is best for your unique situation. Some people choose just filling orders while others prefer prewriting before doing anything else with that particular article in the terms of sharing or publishing and submitting them to different websites across the internet. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic and to hear what has worked for you and what hasn't worked for you.
